 Before working with Cassie, our babies sleep was a mess. My 10 month old was waking up to 9 times a night, fighting to go down for bed, as well as having false starts and extended wake periods in the middle of the night. 

Now she goes down much easier and only wakes a couple times for a feed and then straight back to sleep within minutes.

What helped us the most was the personalised approach. Cassie listened to our concerns and tailored a plan that worked for our family's specific needs. The support and guidance were invaluable. The best part is absolutely no cry it out was needed, just adjustments to her schedule and learning she needed waaay less sleep than we thought she did. 

I would recommend her to anyone needing help with their babies sleep, if we have any issues in the future as her sleep needs change I’ll definitely be reaching back out.

Before working with Cassie my 13month old son had never slept through the night, he would wake multiple times overnight and was very difficult to get back to sleep, usually taking 1hr to get back to sleep at times. He hated going back to sleep in his cot and would end up in our bed every night. He would also start the day at 4.30-5.30am every morning. During the day he would only nap max 30min at a time.

With a few tweaks to his routine, his sleep now has improved drastically. He is a fantastic day napper, napping up to 2hrs if I let him. He now only wakes once overnight and is a lot easier to get him back to sleep and back to his own bed, we even have quite a few nights of him sleeping all night. He now consistently wakes at 6-6.30 most mornings.

What has helped me the most is knowing what my sons individual sleep needs were and what he needed in his routine to facilitate these needs.

Cassie was amazing to work with and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to work with a sleep consultant. Her methods are tailored to each individual child and not just a one size fits all. She takes the time to get to know each child's temperament and comes up with a personalised sleep plan catered to the child individual sleep needs. Her regular check ins help you feel so supported in your sleep journey.

Prior to working with Cassie my 1yo son would wake 2hourly (3 hour stretch if we were lucky). It was like this since birth and we were beyond exhausted. I started to loose hope that my son would ever sleep longer stretches until I came across Cassie. 

With some simple tweaks and timings my son now only wakes twice a night which is a huge win! (Previously anywhere between 4-8). I feel more confident around sleep time and now know what is best for my son knowing he is on the lower sleep needs side. Highly recommend working with Cassie - she is so knowledgeable and filled us with the confidence we needed.

 Around 9 months of age, it felt like my daughter just forgot how to sleep. We were experiencing false starts, extremely short naps, 6+ long overnight wakes and resorting to contact naps just to get her to stay asleep.

Following Cassie’s advice, we are now enjoying our days (and nights) and not stuck in a dark room, feeling like we have to rock our daughter to sleep for hours. Naps are no longer a battle, and we’re able to transfer her to the cot with ease. Overnight wakes are now resettled quickly, instead of having long wake periods through the night.

I wasn’t comfortable using any cry-it-out methods that other sleep consultants recommend, but Cassie’s methods were responsive and taught us how to layer sleep associations instead. From the first call, she was always kind and compassionate, and her approach was tailored to our situation. She guided me on how to build sleep pressure and trust my daughter’s tired signs. I now feel so much more confident about her sleep, instead of fearful and stressed.

 Had a phone consult with Cassie and immediately felt put at ease! She is incredibly kind and very clearly passionate about her work. As a first-time mum, unfortunately I fell for a lot of misinformation both online and from other healthcare professionals about what is considered "normal" for my one-year old's sleep patterns. Cassie was able to bring an evidence-based yet holistic approach to my concerns without shaming or judging me, and I can't thank her enough for putting my mind at ease!

 After having worked with another sleep consultant to sleep train my first child, I was looking for a more holistic, gentler approach with my second.  From our first one-on-one phone consultation, I knew Cassie was this person!  Cassie was kind, caring and reassuring whilst providing us not only with the steps to improve our little one’s sleep but also explaining why it would help.  Our one year old went from false starts and waking every 2 hours to sleeping through to 2:15am before waking for a quick feed and going back down again.  We have also had success with her sleeping in her cot for her day time naps too!  It’s still a work in progress but we are already getting a better nights sleep.  Thank you so much Cassie for all of your support!

 I have worked with other sleep consultants prior to Cassie but never felt comfortable with the methods and had never seen any long lasting improvement, but feeling desperate I reached out, and I am SO glad I did!! Cassie’s method immediately felt right for our family, and we saw changes pretty quickly. We have seen a drastic decrease in night wakes and no more false starts but most important, we feel way more confident with understanding our little one’s sleep needs. Cassie was gentle and approachable when I had reservations or questions about changing sleep routines and we always felt supported with regular check ins. Sleep has improved SO much, we are getting to enjoy our time with our baby now instead of being so obsessed with sleep, it’s been a life saviour!

Cassie took the time to understand our family's natural rhythms and my personal goals, and took an approach that felt both respectful and achievable. Her holistic approach honoured both Avery's needs and my own wellbeing.

At a time when I was too overwhelmed and exhausted to make sense of it all, she helped me understand the root causes of our sleep challenges and guided me through gentle changes that supported emotional connection and developmental readiness.

Sleep wasn't horrible but we had countless random split nights, or multiple feeds to get bub back to sleep, he was quite chilled and playful but this was not working well for hubby and I to be awake in the night taking turns to resettle. Bub  also had extremely lengthy naps in the day time, sometimes 3-4.5 hour lengths for one nap alone and then still fit in a 1.5-2 hour second nap at age 1, which I just didn't know how to change to make the nights longer whilst still allowing him enough naps to stay functioning and happy. I wasn't following much routines and wake times were all over the place due to us all trying to catch up on lost sleep from the split nights. I tried to look up generic schedules which did not work effectively for my high sleep needs son. I didn't like how they always suggested a 7am start or a 7pm bedtime. This didn't work for our lifestyles. Sleep now has improved a lot, I sometimes get no wakes at all or a minimum of only 1 wake and an immediate breast feed back to sleep. We are getting much longer nights now, before I would be lucky to get 9.5 hours a night whereas now we have 11 hours at night and 2 naps in the day that are averaging 2.5-3hours in total. I also have some structure, knowing his ideal wake windows unique to him. Cassie helped work this out, as it was way beyond my knowledge. I also learnt the importance of deep sleep and when the right time is to wake, so I wasn't so afraid to cap them. Whereas before I always just proffered letting bub sleep for as long as he needed feeling afraid to disrupt and cap. Providing me a schedule that worked well for our family. We love a later wake and a later bedtime, so Cassie worked with us to make sure we were not following something that wouldn't be easy to stick too. She was gentle in her approach, especially for me as the mother. We have our own ways and habits that sometimes are hard to break but she was so understanding and gentle helping me through any challenges I was experiencing as the mum. The wake windows were the biggest help and the knowledge behind the sleep cycles as they transition into deep sleep is what I really needed to know to be able to implement the optimum nap time spots for our son. I would definitely recommend Nurtured Sleep coaching for family and friends for those reluctant to seek help due to the perception of sleep training out there. There was absolutely no pressure on myself or bub, it was all gentle in the approach to simply just work with bubs unique sleep needs and how many hours he actually needs in a day to be functioning at his prime and ensuring that the parents are also working on a schedule suitable for them too. I now feel I have more hours in the day to head out and about instead of being caught at home for 4 hours straight afraid to wake my bub. I have more control because of the knowledge on what I now understand my son needs. We have better night sleeps and less insomnia for myself, due to the multiple wakes and random splits we were having. I can not speak highly enough on how this has changed our sleep for the better for all 3 of us. Cassie is extremely nurturing, and a great communicator, so extremely patient and positive to work with. So don't wait and think about it, just reach out to her and she will work out something that works for you in terms of packages.
